Over the past 12 months, Apraava has strengthened its commitment, becoming a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and constituting a local Diversity and Inclusion Council to accelerate progress. The Council sponsored the creation of a Diversity and Inclusion roadmap intended to increase female representation across the business, drawing on employee feedback from surveys, focus group discussions and visioning exercises. Awareness sessions on unconscious bias were conducted, as well as an independent third-party assessment of pay equity and diversity and inclusion employment practices which reaffirmed that Apraava is well placed amongst its peers.
